FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Google Pixel 6 supports inductive charging. Although the phone supports inductive charging, a wireless charger is usually not found in the box with the device. If you don't have an inductive charger, you need to get one in order to use this type of charging. It is also possible to charge the phone using a traditional charger.
Unfortunately, Google Pixel 6 has been designed without a jack socket. The lack of a jack socket means you will need to use Bluetooth headphones. Alternatively, you can purchase a specialised adapter to connect wired headphones to the device. Our advanced search will allow you to check which phone models have a jack socket.

Pieszczoch

Important information for those interested in purchasing the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. After the update to Android 13, official support for VoLTE has appeared.

A phone with an excellent camera for its price, smooth operation, and a quite good battery. And that support ;) I recommend it as a user!

Pieszczoch, I cannot find such settings in Plus, on which network does VoLTE work for you?

WTF ?

Something of very poor quality. I regret purchasing it, having been enticed by the optics, as I needed a mobile device for photography. Build quality 6/10. After 4 months, the camera finishes began to detach and dust started to enter, which is very poor for such a price. -Display - 6/10 discoloration and light flickering from the middle to the bottom of the screen, similar to a budget device for 500 PLN. - system - 7.5 /10 seriously, is this from Google? Wireless charging does not work, the system seems as if it were created during middle school computer science classes when they still existed, and after every update, there are new surprises with errors... I ask for mercy.... - Cameras ..... Front 3.5-4.0 Back 7.5/10. The front one seems to belong to the past decade - there is almost no sharpness, these photos are blurry, truly very poor and it is only 8mpix.... We are moving backwards again. It is difficult to enlarge them because THE PIXELATION IS EXTREMELY VISIBLE. Fixed focus.... Have mercy.... It is impossible to take a good photo with it!! . BACK - COLORS ok, well, it is acceptable or even good but of course BUT... Where is this 50mpix? They should stop using pixel binning as if everyone only took photos at night; the resolution is in a very poor state because they can be viewed on the phone, but on a computer they are useless due to the lack of resolution. And something started to move loosely in the lens. When shaking it slightly, it feels as if something has fallen apart..... I do not understand the enthusiasm because this is worth a maximum of 2000 PLN and 5G is also missing :l I do not wish for anyone to own this :/

Review after about a year of using this phone.
Overall rating positive. The phone has that special something. I bought it because of the highly regarded cameras and I have taken many beautiful shots with this phone. Friends often ask what phone it is because it takes nice photos, especially portraits.
People switching from Samsung will probably be dissatisfied because you cannot customize everything indiscriminately here. The phone has many faults implemented by the manufacturer that are incomprehensible to me, such as slow charging, a display that is not very bright in the sun, a somewhat outdated front camera, and a tendency to get warm. On the other hand, the main competitor has been producing phones for 5 years with a notch as large as Clifford and offers 60Hz on the screen and everything is considered fine.
I like the 6 because of the stable operation of Android 13; I have never noticed any performance issues. I had the newer Pixel 7 for 3 months, which broke after a fall. I returned to the 6 and it lacks nothing. At 11 PM, when I plug it in for charging after a full day of intensive use, I still have 30-40%.
At this price in 2023, it is impossible to find a better phone.

After 3 months of use, I think I can finally share my opinion. At the beginning, when the phone was released, it had many bugs and was being patched with updates. It was only in June 2022 that everything was completely resolved, which is why I decided to purchase it only then. After switching from the Pixel 5, I only had to get used to the size. Other than that, the phone is better in every way - the battery is probably the biggest advantage over the predecessor; a full day of intensive use is not a problem for it (the previous one was also good, but sometimes I had to recharge the phone in the evening). The camera is simply excellent; anyone who has tried a Pixel once knows its value, and the night + astro mode is significantly better than all the competition :) Videos are at a top level, although the latest iPhones are always slightly ahead. The system? As with pure Android, it has its pros and cons - less customization options (than with other Android competitors), but it will never slow down and the phone simply operates very smoothly.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. All these positive reviews are probably from people switching from 15-year-old LG phones or are released by the manufacturer. I switched from an S10 to the Pixel 6 pro and it is a failure. The phone is not intuitive at all. No auto flash mode. The screen constantly unlocks during calls. Many functions are missing, it freezes. The photos look as if they were processed by AI. The colors look more vivid, yet you can see the difference in quality compared to Samsung or iPhone flagships. I have had the Pixel for a year and for the first few months I hoped I would get used to it, but unfortunately, I did not. I am waiting for the day when I can change this poorly performing phone.

After 7 months of use - I cannot say a bad word. The phone has never frozen or slowed down significantly. I have many applications installed, but I do not play games on the phone. A very big advantage for photos. The rear camera is excellent. I think only the new iPhone can compete with it. Photos in motion or night mode are of masterly quality. The battery lasts decently (up to 1.5 days) with normal use. Signal is excellent, music and call quality as well. It does not heat up, does not creak, the fit and quality are like flagship devices. For a price up to 3000, there is no better choice.

Everyone on the internet and on YouTube talks about the undeniable advantages of this phone; I, for a change, will talk about one serious flaw that disqualifies this phone. I already have the second unit and am waiting for the third (I really want to give it a chance). The display is of very poor quality; it discolors at low brightness from purple to green. I have had quite a few OLED screens in phones, but only two models, despite replacements, were consistently defective - the (first) Nord and currently the Pixel 6...

[...]
As of today (March 2023), the phone has no software defects (at least I have not noticed any). Furthermore, important information for those interested -> The phone has support for VoLTE, which can be seen, among others, on the list of phones supporting it, for example, on the Play operator's website.
At its price, one of the best phones. An excellent camera in all conditions, a full day of trouble free battery operation, continuous support with manufacturer updates.

AdamPan

I have had it for several months and I am very satisfied. Initially, I was greeted by the terrible performance of the fingerprint scanner, but I had read about this before and intended not to use it. After a few days and several updates, it worked perfectly. I have not noticed the phone heating up, any system freezes, or battery problems. The only thing I can complain about is the low screen brightness; it is somewhat insufficient in the sun.
